Got Questions?
Here are some things to know.
What should I expect when I visit for the first time?
Expect a warm, welcoming environment where you can come as you are. Our services include a time of worship through music followed by an in-depth, verse-by-verse teaching from the Bible. Services typically last about an hour to an hour and a half. You won't be put on the spot or asked to do anything uncomfortable — just come ready to worship and learn.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code at Calvary Bluffton. Come as you are — we care far more about you being there than what you're wearing.
How long is a typical service?
Our Sunday morning services begin at 10:30 AM and typically last about an hour to an hour and a half. Wednesday evening services begin at 7:00 PM and last about an hour.
Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available at our location at 52 Persimmon St., Bluffton, SC 29910.
Do I need to bring a Bible?
You're welcome to bring your own Bible, but don't worry if you don't have one. Scripture will be displayed so you can follow along with the teaching.
What is the music like during worship? Our worship is focused on glorifying God through heartfelt, Christ-centered music. The goal is not a performance but a genuine time of praise and prayer together as a congregation.

Absolutely. We welcome anyone who is honestly seeking answers about God, faith, and life. Our verse-by-verse approach to teaching is designed to help people encounter the truth of Scripture for themselves, whether you're new to faith or have been a believer for years.
What if I haven't been to church in a long time?
You are welcome here no matter how long it's been. There's no judgment — we're just glad you're taking the step to come. Our community is made up of people at all different stages of their faith journey.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. Families are welcome at Calvary Bluffton. We have childcare available, along with children and youth minisitry.
Will anyone know it's my first time?
Only if you want them to! You won't be singled out or made to feel awkward. That said, we would love the chance to meet you and introduce ourselves, so feel free to say hello to anyone after the service.
I'm nervous about visiting a church for the first time. What would you say to me? We completely understand — walking into a new place can feel intimidating. Know that everyone at Calvary Bluffton was new at some point, and our heart is to make you feel at home from the moment you walk in the door. If you'd like to connect with someone before your visit, don't hesitate to reach out to us at 843-321-8299 or through our website.
